The Business Incubator consists of short training sessions combined with personalised consultations. In addition, participants receive practical advice whenever new questions or situations arise. The training is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of running a business. Topics include business planning, financial management, service development, and marketing. Industry-specific themes cover areas such as regulatory requirements, patient data management, insurance, and public procurement procedures.
Speech therapists have the opportunity to explore entrepreneurship in even greater depth. At Ombrelo, speech therapists can gradually grow into entrepreneurship while still employed. The employment model is designed to resemble entrepreneurship, allowing therapists to gain entrepreneurial experience without immediately taking on the responsibilities of running their own business. Alongside their clinical work, they can participate in the Business Incubator at their own pace. When they feel ready, they can establish their own company and transition smoothly into entrepreneurship. They may continue as entrepreneurs within Ombrelo, working with familiar colleagues and clients, or choose to build their business elsewhere.
Participation in Ombrelo’s Business Incubator is free of charge for professionals working with Ombrelo and does not require participants to establish a business.
