Target Groups:
Children, adolescents, and adults (including Kela’s demanding medical rehabilitation). For child clients, rehabilitation focuses especially on delayed language and speech development, reading difficulties, and motor speech disorders. For adult clients, rehabilitation includes, among other things, voice disorders and aphasia.
Education:
Basic vocational education
Master of Arts, Speech-Language Pathology program
Further vocational training
Unclear speech (OPT 1 and apraxia, PROMPT), augmentative and alternative communication (supporting signs, communication boards and binders), guidance for the client’s community, and remote rehabilitation.
Experience:
Graduated in 2014 and has since worked in the private sector as a rehabilitative speech therapist. Also experienced in demanding medical rehabilitation.
