Rehabilitation is carried out using a resource-oriented approach. Speech therapy follows the principles of community-based rehabilitation, meaning that in addition to the client in speech therapy, the client’s close contacts also participate in the rehabilitation. Between speech therapy sessions, these close contacts carry out interim exercises with the client that have been planned together with the speech therapist, in order to support the client’s ability to function in everyday life in the best possible way.
